Excitement is definitely in the air, because the prime time camping season start is just around the corner. Looking for something fun to do this weekend? The 38th Annual Wooden Boat Show sponsored by the NC Maritime Museum in Beaufort is here on the Crystal Coast… It will be fun for the whole family! There will be free sailboat rides on Thursday, May 3 & Friday, May 4 from 1 – 4 pm. On Saturday, May 5, you can enjoy traditional skills demonstrations and displays, educational activities, historic vessels, nautical crafts, boat models, sailboat races at 10 am and 3 pm and free sailboat rides again from 1 – 3 pm. Admission is free and open to the public, taking place in downtown Beaufort, NC. Check it out!

Take a dip in the ocean, just a short walk right outside your RV. The water’s cold, but once you get in you’ll be chilling in no time. If you prefer, our pool is right across from the camp sites. Like everything at HTP Resort, we keep it well maintained so our guests can relax in style and comfort. Our arcade is great retreat from the hot sun or take a ride on our Go-Karts (during the summer months) as your speed picks up the wind and puts a big smile on your face!

Of course there are many Bicycle Rental Shops, like Highway 58 Bicycles right down the street if you don’t have your own. Emerald Isle has multi-use paths so you can ride your bicycle for miles. It’s a great way to check out the scenery!
